The nurses are ok. The nurses aids, well its a mixed bag some are great others I watch like a hawk.
Im being honest, and not posting a fake responce, I have over 150 ratings....so here it goes.
Ive NEVER suspected elder abuse or any fowl play. The staff is quite patient even with the most stubborn and rude elders. - In the past I have caught some of the nurses aids insulting my Nanas intelligence but that is the extent of it.
There is a hair salon. There are vending machines in the basement, so if you get hungry or thirsty visiting your loved one it is there.
There are daily activities for the elders. Sometimes the food looks great, sometimes it looks like a 1990s school lunch (way over processed unhealthy food).
The facility is clean, doesnt smell bad. They clean the rooms daily, change the bedding often. My Nana has never looked dirty or smelled since she arrived
No one wants to see the parents they love in a nursing home... My wife and I decided to show up unannounced, my parents were being attended to, clean, and together. I was able to see the charts the nurses had on both of them and overall I feel Mom and Dad are safe and cared for... social worker and hospice care return my calls promptly and don't rush me off the phone...
The therapists are awesome. Michael is probably the best one. He actually cares about helping people.
So overall I would recommend this place, if you feel assisted living is what is best for your elder.
