To be honest...I don't think I would trust my two computers to anyone else! Nate is awesome and his work is always done thoroughly and efficiently and done right too! No call backs ever for a problem after he has completed what he set out to do! I have been using him for all my computer needs since shortly after he created Nifty Nate's and I have told anyone and everyone that I know to be sure to call him for all of their computer needs. I, too, am typing right now on a terrific re-furbed laptop that he set me up with (for an awesome price too) complete with just the "right stuff" that I need to accomplish what I need to do without all that extra "crap" that jams up most computers. And he has responded very very quickly when I ran into a problem of my own doing and set up a meeting within a few days if not that same day! His shop is awesome too and again, very efficient and well staffed! Everyone connected with Nate is the best that out's there in my humble opinion! Hope this will help someone out there experiencing a computer problem....call Nate...you won't be sorry!
Nifty Nate's did a fantastic job building me a new computer when the motherboard of my "off the shelf" computer failed in less than one year. I am a design professional who relies heavily on a highly functioning computer and I absolutely have that now for me for less money than an equal machine AND EVEN LESS THAN THE ONE I BOUGHT OFF THE SHELF AT A BOX STORE! Solid state hard drive, tons of RAM, great graphics card, and power supply. They even followed up to make sure all things were going smoothly. COULD NOT BE HAPPIER!
This is a "technician" that, aside from probably very basic repairs, has absolutely no idea about anything Mac-related and I would urge even Windows users to go to a more well-established, actually authorized repair shop.
He'll break it right the first time, and then lie to you about the problem.
Great job fixing my laptop. Installed new solid state drive, saved a my data, friendly on the phone, explained everything easily.
As someone who repairs computers for a living at an established local Apple retailer, I personally see former Nifty Nate's customers come in all the time with computers that they recently brought in for service there and were left with misdiagnosed computers, screws missing, a bigger problem than what they came in with, etc.
My computer was fried. It would not turn on and this happened about a year after purchase. Since Capital one had an extended warranty, I brought it to Nate to do a diagnostic. 25 bucks is a deal for that. While it took longer than expected, he thoroughly researched the problem ( bad motherboard and no replacement part) and wrote a comprehensive letter to the credit card company. I have yet to hear back from them, but he was very helpful.
