There are a lot of beaches in cape cod to choose from, but this relatively small beach is very special. With Barnstable harbor close by, restaurant and clam shack, this beach is a favorite destination for us. Have dinner and walk the beach and see excellent sunsets, or grab take out at the nearby clam shack and lay a blanket on the beach, letting the kids play in the shallow pools catching hermit crabs when the tide is out. Not usually crowded, so you can find quiet space to relax and take in the wonderful scenery.

Very clean. Lifeguard very alert. Just moved from the state of WA to the Cape. This beach was great.
Not the typical beach, but you can walk and walk. Found lots of clam shells too....which I brought home with me to Oregon. Go at sunset....very nice!! Barnstable...what a town.....so quaint and adorable! If I were going to move to Mass, I'd move there.
Amazing at low tide -- walk far out and see so many creatures. Not many parking spaces keeps it quiet.
