I’m writing to tell you goodbye. We’re back at CVS. You can’t even keep water stocked. How hard is that, really? You don’t deserve our business.
I went to the CVS across the street where a very nice young lady not only went in the back to find me some distilled water, but carried the whole case out to my car (6 x 8 pounds = 48 pounds). Do I think your manager would have done that for me? I think not.
I started going to RiteAid when we moved back to this area in September. I first went to CVS out of habit but they were so cranky and inept we walked away… and across the street to this RiteAid.
That was three weeks ago. No phone call.
This wasn’t news to her. She explained that she was limited by what was on the truck. And that she often calls the warehouse asking for more but apparently to no avail. Seriously? This is a store manager?
I switched to this Rite Aid Pharmacy at the same time my insurance changed. Two of my prescriptions were not covered, so I had to pay the full price myself. This happened twice. Eventually, I contacted the insurance company and discovered that the prescriptions were NOT rejected... coverage was Never Requested by Rite Aid Staff. The person I dealt with appeared to be covering for management and was therefore both helpless and useless; offering no suggestions. I was told that the charges were 'Too Old' to be reviewed (2-5 months). I lost over $200 on THEIR ERROR and THEIR Refusal to correct it! My insurance company did refund a small amount of the loss; at least proving the situation was poorly handled. This is NOT the way to shop Local!
The cashier volunteered to call me – as she does for some other customers – when the water was in. She would save me a few bottles.
I’ve been going to rite aid for many years but for the past few years I haven’t liked them one of the pharmacist i think is so rude and she needs to learn how to be more friendly. I will be switching back to cvs soon
PS: The pharmacy folks were great.
I use a CPAP machine and that requires distilled water. Getting the water at this RiteAid is hit and miss. Usually miss. I would say the shelf is empty on 85% of my visits. So when I buy it I really stock up. Apparently I’m not the only one.
On my most recent visit – with the water running low at home – I spoke with the store manager, asking why the shelf is always empty.
