The whale watch was magnificent. We were able to see whales and the guide was very knowledgeable. Highly recommend from Hyannis if you can.
My family, and I, had a great time on this outing. Jon, the naturalist, provided insightful, and humorous, commentary. I feel lucky to have experienced this. (Nice for us, the boat was at half capacity due to mid-week early Oct. excursion.) Based on our positive experience, I highly recommend it, and feel the expense was worth the memories we made.
The husband and I went a bit late in the season, but still saw some whales. Nice boat ride if the weather is nice. If it's rough seas, you may have a problem as it's a bit of a distance to get the grounds. Very fast boat though. Knowledgeable crew.
Worth the money and the time!!!! Amazing crew members that helped us so much and made our experience so enjoyable. They stayed around the area so we could see the best of the whales and we were not disappointed. One whale even came right up to the boat! We went on a stormy kind of day so the sea was rocky and we were a bit sea sick but the staff gave us plain popcorn on the house to settle our stomachs which we thought was so nice. We will be definitely seeing whales again through Hyannis!!!
Mid October. Saw lots of whales up close. 30 or so. It was great. Captain knew allot. Good sound so we could hear him talk. Seas were a little rough. Not too bad. I think in the summer or would be a little crowded. We were not even half full. Still highly worth the money.
