Easter Sunday I was out walking our dog in West Dennis and found our car had a flat tire. Of course who would be open on Easter Sunday to repair our tire so we could travel home later that day to western Massachusetts? They were! They were able to patch our tire so I could get back to my wifes family and enjoy our Easter Sunday dinner. Everything worked out great and we were able to travel home with no issues. Thanks to everyone involved!!

The worse customer service ever!

I was on vacation on the Cape and on a weekend. Unfortunately the car died and it seemed to be the battery. Was able to get the car to the Sears Auto Center as they were the only ones open on a Sunday, which was nice. Let them know that it seemed the battery was dead and needed to be replaced. It took a little under 2 hours to do. They were busy that day, which I can understand. We were just happy that it was done in the end. Everything seemed okay for the rest of the day, but the next morning after getting home, the car was dead again. Come to find out that the battery terminals were quite rusted and corroded. You would think that they would have attempted to clean it up some. The terminal was quite loose in the end. Took it to the Pep Boys I usually go to, and they instantly noticed the corrosion and took care of that. You would think that the Sears guys should have seen that. In the end, they were friendly and seemingly took care of the issue, but they didn't exactly go up and beyond to actually take care of the customer. They could have asked a few questions about what was going on, but their main interest is to sell something and get you out the door. If you have a choice to go somewhere else, I would consider it. If not, good luck and check their work if possible. I was very disappointed to find out that they really missed something so obvious. Of course, shame on me for not looking under the hood myself. Will not fall for that again.

I will say I usually don't have a problem with Sears Auto in Hyannis maybe the mechanics were understaffed or back logged. I have never seen such confusion. It appears when I went for a routine oil change my sticker was missing after service never received a courtesy call to let me know when the car was done. It's the simple things that give you confidence in the job done. There was a lady in front of me clearly not happy with something The associate waiting on her at first was rude telling her well he was not the associate who rang her initial work order . He went on to say the associate that did it went home and can't verify the charges and work done to car. Now I am thinking to myself should their be a better communication log or system between the associates and mechanics. It seem after much haranguing she reluctantly paid for service. I am thinking to myself I will not bring my car for any service if this is what I have to go through. I am sure they were all just very busy. But we all should bring a more graceful approach when dealing with the customer. Even if it was not your initial customer you need to handle them with more finesse rather than saying its not my fault and he is not here to clear it up. I was afraid to ask him why my sticker was missing from a routine oil change. I tell you I will not be going there anytime soon.

I called an hour before I brought my car there at (6pm) and they close at 7. David told me to bring my car in and they will look at it tonight. I did just so and the three gentleman that were working tonight were over and beyond helpful! They did not hassle me with pricing by no means and helped me with exactly what I needed at a low cost. They fixed my car the same night. Thank you again for all your help, Jim, David and Frank!! I would certainly recommend them. Nice things happen to NICE people! =)
