Nice enough motel with shuttle to the beach. Reasonable prices.
This is the nicest place to stay. Beds are comfy. Rooms are nice. Fresh coffee in the morning. I could walk to the beach. Can't wait to visit again.
The location was great, with a really good ice cream shop across the street and the beach very close. The room was comfortable. The breakfast was simple, but decent. Our only negatives with this stay were: * If you like the room to be especially dark for sleep, the shades on the window are not good enough. * We were told we would be able to plug in our electric car to recharge there. However, they only had a few outdoor outlets, and they had would have required running a wire across a hallway and creating a tripping hazard. We ended up taking a few trips to the nearby Whole Foods instead to charge, which was inconvenient.
EV drivers: 15 minutes from DC Fast Charger at Whole Foods in Hyannis. Maintenance guy said it was fine to plug into outside plugs at inn, but front desk staff didn't want a tripping hazard and all the plugs involved stretching across a walkway.
Parents: Ice cream across the road (good or bad thing), playground in walking distance, penny candy store (1852 general store) waffling distance across from playground.
We stayed for 5 nights and had a pretty good experience. The pool was closed when we got there but was do to a chemical imbalance from a heavy rainfall a few days prior. Our shower/tub mixing valve was broken so you could only take a shower and since we have a 18 month old who takes baths it was a bummer. Their continental breakfast is a 1 out of 5. They have coffee and small pastries like mini muffins, donut holes and a few cold beverages like water, orange juice and grape juice. On the plus side they do offer shuttles to the beach for free and that is a $20 value every day.
Nice, clean rooms. Indoor pool is a nice touch during bad weather. Shuttle to beach.
