My advice to anyone looking for a Chevy or a Subaru in the mid cape area is that perhaps you should reevaluate your brand loyalty and consider other dealer possibilities or be willing to travel to a dealership that actually cares about how their customers are treated.
I didn't feel pressured to buy anything, I was shown great cars and found a car I fell in love with. James was so helpful, everyone was so friendly. I am recommending this place to everyone! I said no to a couple of cars because they just weren't what I was looking for (still great cars, I just preferred something different) and he was happy to show me something different. He just wanted me to leave happy. Nancy, who did the loan was so helpful and funny. I am very happy with my purchase and will definitely be back when I'm car shopping again
I wish I could give Dick Beard ZERO stars! I have never had a good experience in my dealings with Dick Beard Chevrolet. In fact, I have never actually met anyone else in my life who has done business with them and still hold them in a positive regard. I own a Chevy truck and my wife owns a Subaru. When it comes time to replace either of our vehicles we will steer clear of both those brands simply so that we don't have to deal with Dick Beard even for warranty/recall work. We had several repairs with both of our vehicles in which we had to go back time and again for previous work to be redone or "adjusted." My truck was in the service department three times for a brake job that was never made right. I care less about the actual cost of the repair than for it to be done right the first time. I lost days upon days of work because my truck was out of commission being re-repaired. The customer service skills of everyone that I have dealt with there, but especially the service and parts department, is severely lacking. In fact, they were downright rude both on the phone and in person. Today I stood at the parts counter on the Subaru side for 15 minutes ringing the bell and no one ever showed up to help me. All I wanted was some windshield wipers for my wife's car. They are a special fit and apparently can only be bought at a Subaru dealer. There is a sign that informs you that it may take up to 3-5 minutes during lunchtime for a parts salesperson to come from the Chevy parts department to assist you. This was at mid afternoon and not lunchtime. I could have been almost halfway to another Subaru dealer in my time wasted.

Bringing my 2 young boy's shopping isn't easy, nevermind car shopping. I knew what I was looking for and was immediately greeted by Steve and several other sales people. They were not deterred by my rambunctious boys and Steve and I got to talking about what I needed. I had done my research online and knew of a vehicle I really wanted. We owned our 2014 Chevy Cruze, Steve was able to procure a wonderful offer as a trade in and in under an hour, we put a deposit on the Suburban. My husband and I returned the next day, finalized the paperwork, took the Suburban for a final test drive and within an hour, I was happily driving away in my gorgeous new vehicle. We are so happy with our purchase, our sales man, Steve, and the rest of the team at Beard. Wonderful to keep our business local! Thanks for an awesome experience, we will see you next oil change!
